The Young Democrats of Atlanta is the official youth arm of Democratic Party of Georgia in the Atlanta, GA area. We are a membership-based organization that works every day to help elect more Democrats across Atlanta and the entire state of Georgia. Additionally, we regularly meet to engage in policy discussions with our organizational members and with community and political leaders in the metro-Atlanta area.
Flipping the White House in 2020 and the Senate in 2021 with the election of Senator Ossoff and Senator Warnock was just the beginning. YDATL is dedicated to flip more statewide and local seats in the years to come. Thank you for being a part of history!
Atlanta, Georgia has always been the beacon of the south. This city’s southern charm has been home to leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, Representatives Nikema Williams and Lucy McBath, and Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. There just isn’t enough time to thoroughly list the local, statewide, national, and global leadership that Atlanta has produced. And, at the core this leadership is a vibrant and youthful energy that has pushed movements forward. I decided to join the Young Democrats of Atlanta to be a part of the legacy of youthful vibrancy and leadership.

To stimulate an active interest in governmental affairs, to increase the efficiency of popular government, to foster and perpetuate the ideals of the Democratic Party, to provide the highest degree of justice and social welfare for our people, and to serve as a voice for all young people in the Democratic Party.
